User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0 Build ID: 20121128204232 Steps to reproduce: Nothing Actual results: Every few hours, a popup pops up announcing "Update Available," interrupting my work. After several days of this, I know there's an update available, and I'll get to it when I have the time. Presumably, this is controlled by the Update tab under Advanced in preferences, and I could shut it off altogether. Expected results: There should be a button on the popup for ""Okay I Heard You" that makes the popup quit nagging.
You can select "Never check for updas" from Options -> Advanced -> Update. This is not an issue. Closing as invalid. Please visit support.mozilla.org for questions/problems that are not bugs/issues.

So the options are either to take the risk of never checking or to accept being nagged several times a day? There's no way to add a checkbox for, "Okay I heard you?" That's ridiculous.
