Details
In the Firefox OS browser, it's not possible to remove or edit a bookmark whose URL is normalized or redirected (as discussed in bug 819614, which was marked duplicate of a WONTFIX bug, and which has detailed steps to reproduce).
One nice way to fix this would be to offer bookmark editing and removing UI in response to a long-press on the bookmark. Bug 804318 comment 3 seems to suggest this is in the V2 plan.

This can leave the user with bookmarks that cannot be deleted for multiple reasons:
* default configuration included a bookmark that is normalized or redirects
* user bookmarks a site; site reorganizes to turn that bookmark into a redirect

(The removal aspect was fixed in bug 838040; editing (bug 838041) was wontfixed.)
