Notifications are currently displayed underneath the date and they should be displayed in the space between the date and the unlock controls, as indicated in the screenshot.

I wasn't able to reproduce this bug, can someone confirm it's still valid?
It looks good for me. I am going to close the bug. Feel free to reopen it if it's still reproducible in your environment with a newer build.
