We need to prepare a wrap-up of our 2012 Engagement activities for sharing with an internal audience. It was originally planned as a video, but for a variety of reasons has been scaled back to an infographic. The goal with this project is to show how we started 2012 on an uncertain note, with many questioning our momentum and ability to maintain marketshare and relevance. Then, the infographic will show how, through Engagement efforts, we turned it around and ended 2012 stronger than ever with a ramp-up to all the awesome things we have in store for 2013. It should end with a forward-looking CTA along the lines of "let's make 2013 awesome" or "let's see what new heights we get to in 2013"...obviously that copy could be better, but you get the idea. Here is a link to the draft with assets: https://docs.google.com/a/mozilla.com/document/d/13LFD3xZSLBeEfdYFSWtMmGPL07jxAZkBatUe31vrRGM/edit Attached, please find examples of past infographics that show the creative direction we want to go in.

Lizz's notes on this draft: My biggest piece of feedback for the infographic is that it seems the first headlines ("will Google kill Firefox", etc) come out of nowhere. There's not context and one wouldn't know they're headlines; they just seem like random phrases. Also, I know the "we did that" is in response to "we had challenges to overcome" but it's not immediately apparent. I feel like generally, Matej's script seems disjointed with the graphic portions. It kind of makes it confusing. Additionally, I think it needs to be clear that this is showing Engagement efforts and how we contributed, not Mozilla as a whole. We already have that infographic: https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2012/12/14/mozilla-in-2012/ To address the font, I think the biggest issue is the quote bubbles that are white text on purple background - very hard to read. I can't read the attribution at all, even when I squint. I also find the blue head guy under that very strange and unsettling. No me gusta. The speech bubbles kind of look like horns coming off his head.
