I'm not entirely sure what this does, but it seems to come along with the Bing Bar and a particular Windows update, and generally against users' wills. As I understand it, it makes no sense to have the thing installed without the Bing Bar, which is no longer available for Firefox in any case. ID: {27182e60-b5f3-411c-b545-b44205977502} ~2.3M users
I don't think there's enough here to warrant a block. My understanding is that the extension was pushed through Windows Update, and not anymore. Unless it's causing more harm, I don't think we should block this.

In that case, a compatibility override might be a better option.
Is it incompatible? If there are some users who still use it for whatever reason, any sort of block would be counter-productive.
My understanding is that it has no purpose in the absence of the Bing Toolbar, which doesn't exist for Firefox anymore. It's possible that it's already incompatible with current Firefox versions, but I can't get my hands on a copy to be sure. Hm. https://addons.mozilla.org/blocked/i16
