Currently we have to generate a snapshot for each target we build. If we mirrored the repos that we need to create such snapshot we could point to our internal mirrors and generate the builds from there. We should start by mirroring them and then see how we can replace our current snapshot process.

I think we agreed before to put most of the rest of the b2g repos under 'external/' on git.m.o. Is that still appropriate?
update: repos are now being mirrored on the vcs-sync system as part of job07. Combined disk space for all 76 repos is <4GB. As soon as bug 836914 is resolved, the data will be ready to push to git.mozilla.org
