I assume that this refers to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/ If so, it would be great to get this moved. It's a pity that Linux x64 users get send to the i686 download link.

(In reply to Kohei Yoshino [:kohei] from comment #9) > Created attachment 8649109 [details] > sneak preview Clean, and a great large font. Looks great and we can iterate off of it. It removes "Community" and "Organizations" which I think is OK. If needed they can be reintroduced with better terminology/marketing here or in some other location. FWIW, https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/desktop/

Imported the current localized strings at r145109. There are 44 locales so far. Script: https://gist.github.com/kyoshino/824667f6e279bd76c517

@Kohei Importing files in SVN without warning anyone is not great. I think Pascal and Théo offered to help with the l10n side of things, but as a general rule all files in SVN should be tracked by our control tools and dashboards, and right now I have 44 "orphan" new files on /trunk, so managing updates for all the rest of mozilla.org has just become quite a mess. Are these files supposed to be moved to stage and prod?

I'm not sure those strings are ready to be tracked for l10n, because new copy is perhaps coming (Bug 566585) and that's what localizers should see, but yes, please merge those files to stage/prod before my pull request goes prod. There are a couple more new, hidden (so I guess non-blocker) strings for download_button.lang. * Download Thunderbird * Your system doesn't meet the requirements to run Thunderbird. * Please follow these instructions to install Thunderbird.

I don't think that putting them in download_button.lang is a good choice though. Thunderbird ships in less than half the locales that we have in mozilla.org, we expose that file to all locales on mozilla.org
We might need a shared file for Thunderbird, assuming that's possible. Anyhow, better to wait for Pascal's feedback.
