836578 - Unable to open notification screen when swiping from top of device

Steps to reproduce:

1. Unlock phone
2. Place finger at the very top of the device (where the speaker is)
3. Swipe down, crossing the entire screen

Actual result:

Notification screen does not open. A user can only open the notification screen by starting his swipe in the middle of the black notification bar (the bar that displays the time, battery status, etc.).

Expected result:

Notification bar opens. If you follow the same steps on and Android or iOS device, the notification screen will open.

The Firefox OS behavior is intuitive enough (this is the motion I tried when using an Android device for a first time), but I also suspect that Android and iOS users have gotten so used to swiping from the very top of the /device/ that they will be surprised when the same motion does not work on Firefox OS.

To clarify: I think both motions should work. Starting the swipe at the middle of the black bar is the most intuitive motion. Starting it near the speaker is what (some) people have come to expect.

For a while, Android only supported the latter. Frustrating to new users. Now, Firefox OS only supports the former. Frustrating to those who have been using Android/iOS for a while.
