Using redhat linux 7.1.

viewing said url, hitting print, and selecting "all pages" in the print dialog
only prints the first page. the page footer says 1 of 1, when in fact the
document is multiple pages.
Keywords: 4xp, mozilla0.9.2
I'm seeing this on win2k as well.
happens on win 98 also.
Rod.. can you take a look at this.
Assignee: dcone → rods
It looks like it only reflowed into only one page and the contents is one very
long table. It looks like a Chris problem.
Assignee: rods → karnaze
Can anyone please post another example URL - the current one isn't reachable (I
assume that's AOL's internal intranet...)... ;-(
Thanks!
A similar bug has been filed (bug 85427). The difference, besides different
platform (Windows) is that in the other bug footer rightly states the page
number (for example 1/3).
I'm seeing this on NT 4.0 SP6a, Mozilla 0.9.1 with
http://msdn.microsoft.com/voices/office06072001.asp

prints fine from IE 4.72.3110.8 SP1a

Changing url from http://ww6.office.aol.com/focaldoc/files/Focal_2001.htm to
http://158.59.15.115/arlington/master.html. The original url prints all pages.

I printed both frames of http://158.59.15.115/arlington/master.html
(http://158.59.15.115/arlington/menu.asp and
http://158.59.15.115/arlington/intro.html) and they print more than one page. It
looks like a frameset problem. Reassigning to dcone.

Sujay, could you please go through the bugs marked dups of this and reopen the
ones that don't have framesets in them. The problem with bugs that have general
summaries like this one is that we get a bunch of duplicates. Maybe this one
should be "only first page is printed in frameset doc" and others could have
different summaries.

Summary: only first page is printed. → only first page is printed in frameset doc
updating summary
Mozilla fails all pages of a multiple page job if there is more than one job.
Tested on OS/2 Merlin MCP1 Mozilla 0.9.2, and NT 2000 sp2 netscape 6.1.
The following testcases from mozilla.org pass if printed one at a time:
http://www.mozilla.org/quality/browser/front-end/testcases/printing/pagesourcetest.html

Updating summary. If the number of pages in the frame is 2 or less, it may
appear to be just the first page. In my experience, it just prints the odd pages.
Summary: only first page is printed in frameset doc → only first / odd pages are printed in frameset doc
Target Milestone: mozilla0.9.4 → mozilla0.9.5

also make sure http://www.news.com prints all pages when this is fixed...

in my "testing" of this frameset printing problem, I've found that:

if one chooses the "The selected frame" option, mozilla prints only the odd pages

if one chooses the "Each frame seperately", mozilla prints _everything_,
including both odd & even pages of a frame which is odd only when selected in
the previous method.

last test - ID: 2001082909 ; Windows NT Version 4.0 ( Build 1381: Service pack 4)
and I choose the "office talk" column at http://msdn.microsoft.com/columns/ for
the test

This is ugly. Anyone working on this? We should not ship with this. Adding

A very large ent customer, DOD, is interested in this fix. Mitch, if it is
fixed can we ship them a build to verify? Is this a deployment stopper for them?
rod, can we get an update on this bug?
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
I am confused as to what the bug is... Is it the od/even page issue or is it the
multiple jobs issue? Or are there really two bugs here?

patch for missing pages when printing

sr=attinasi, but please fix the grammar at 'are be printed'
Attachment #49907 - Flags: review+
Fixed on tip
I've seen two new bugs today that look like duplicate of that one.
This fix has been implemented, could the two new bugs be tested against the fix
to identify them as duplicate or not?
I think it would be good as well to note in the concerned bugs pages if they are
or not duplicate.

bugs are bug 100724 and bug 100735

Thanks

PDT+. What new testing do we have to ensure that these problems are all gone
and not coming back?

I tested documents with and without sub-doc and it works ok. The fix was
isolated to just AsIs printing which narrows it down a lot.

okay marking this one verified.

I tested URLs from various bug reports.

If you chose As laid out on the screen, you will "still"
get only one page if there is frame on the page.
This is by design. I may file a bug on this if I can't
find a bug on rod/don's buglist.

If you chose Print selected frame, you will get a print
out of that frame only. Multiple pages works for this
option.

If you chose Print each frame separately, that works also
giving all the pages for each frame even if there
are multiple pages.

verified in 9/25 branch build. I will re-verify this puppy
on the trunk later.
