There is no way to localize B, MB, GB units. Additionally, while downloading an update, the unit is always after the number, which isn't true in some languages.

What languages are impacted by this? Are any of the 1.0, 1.01, or 1.1 locales impacted by this?

After quick search, it seems that it is possible to specify formatting in most cases,

But in this case the string is:
"Pobrano {{progress}}"

Do you know where this {{progress}} comes from? Is it possible to format it depending on locale?

Example of hardcoded formatting for progress: http://mxr.mozilla.org/gaia/source/apps/system/js/app_install_manager.js#628 (not really issue in pl since we use the same form as en-US - value space unit)
