Steps to reproduce:

Incoming message filter action "reply with template" is selecting the "from" email address, rather than the "reply-to" email address on the incoming email to send the template to.


Actual results:

incoming mail filter action "reply with template" replies to the "from" email address.


Expected results:

incoming mail filter action "reply with template" should reply to the "reply-to" email address.

I am also experiencing this bug, but I have an additional symptom to report.

My experience is that this bug only occurs when the filter is executed automatically on a qualifying email when it is initially received. In addition to the "Reply with Template" action, the filter has a "Move Message to" action that is used to move the email to a local folder. 

If the same qualifying email is moved back to the inbox and then clicked on to select it, the filter executes and correctly uses the "Reply to" email address and not the invalid "From" email address. I am using this as my manual work around when I get the "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender" notification that results from the use of the "From" email address that is rejected by the receiving email server.

I have seen this bug consistently on PayPal "Notification of payment received" emails which changed the beginning of February 2013.

Ran into this bug as well. Thunderbird 17.0.8. I also have a filter with both "Reply with Template" and "Move Message to" actions, if that makes a difference.
