Under the Community section, it would be nice to change "getting involved with the project is fairly easy for anybody who can donate *his* time to our efforts." to be gender-neutral.

That would be perfect. According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singular_they#Acceptability "a study of modern English usage and determined that singular "they" ("them"/"their") is by far the most common way that English-language speakers and writers today refer back to singular antecedents"
