Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9+) Gecko/20010601 BuildID: 2001060120 When using the preferences dialog, the OK button doesn't do anything. The changes are still commited. I would prefer a OK CANCEL APPLY trio of buttons to this, where Apply would appear unclickable if there wasn't any changes to commit, then both ok/cancel would close the window, with cancel to abort all the changes and ok/apply to commit the changes... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In the menus, choose EDIT 2. Then choose Preferences 3. Then press in OK button Actual Results: Nothing happens. Expected Results: The window of the preferences should close.
Does it happens every time ? It could be bug 30801

It happens all the time with almost all settings. It seams to be that bug all right, mayhappen it's the same with a diferent scope?
Happens for me, too. 0.9.1 (2001060703) on Win2000, modern theme. It's not the same as bug 30801 as I don't have to even change a preference, just viewing a few tabs results in a non-functional OK button. Incidentally this is not a new problem for me - it's happened in every build I remember using.
Reproducable (for me) by viewing the System tab (under Advanced). Build 2001060703 (0.9.1), Win2000.
