Spun off (or whatever) from bug 26882, the long-running bug about spacebar
scrolling down the page when focus is in a textfield or textarea.

This bug is for the specific regression in this behaviour that (apparently)
occurred between the a.m. builds of 5/31 and the afternoon respins of 06/01.
on mac, linux and win32.

I will attach two testcases, one for <input type=text> and one for <textarea>.
These elements are explictly focussed by JS .focus() in the onload handler.
In this state, hitting the spacebar will scroll down the page, instead of
being entered as text. This did not happen in 5/31 builds, but does happen
for builds of 6/1.

Note: once you click in the document body somewhere, and then click back in the
textfield or textarea, the scroll no longer occurs and the space is entered as
text. But as long as the text element has the (initial?) focus, spacebar will
scroll down the page.

Nom. for mozilla0.9.2. Passing to saari, just to make him feel loved.

(In theory, this isn't on the 0.9.1 branch, but I haven't checked. aegis can
you check that please?).

It happens on Win32 build 2001060308, too.
jrgm, you were right. I did not see this behavior in the 0.9.1 branch.
-> hyatt knows what is going on and is working on it
