Steps to reproduce:

1.) Open a lot of tabs
2.) click on the grouping triangle button


Actual results:

There is a grey bar to see in the menu. (Please see the enclosed screenshot.)


Expected results:

No grey bar.
Component: Untriaged → Tabbed Browser

Yes, i can reproduce it. Even with latest Trunk and on OSX 10.6.8 and 10.8.2.

It seems, that this grey bar is visible for those tabs, which are in the 'view' of the Tabstrip. All other 'in the non-view area' of the Tabstrip has no grey bar.

Attached is a screenshot which demonstrates my comment 3:

3 tabs 'google.com' in the view (--> grey bar is visible)
3 tabs 'youtube.com' not in the view (--> no grey bar)
So... maybe a feature, but I don't know - looks strange.
