User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0 Build ID: 20130201065344 Steps to reproduce: I open a flash-file (.swf) directly in the browser e.g. this one: http://ray.eltania.net/TEST/swf-play/swf/testMotion.swf wich has no fullscreen button so I press F11 to bring it to fullscreen. Actual results: I focus the address bar by clicking into it. I press F11 and Firefox goes to fullscreen but the adressbar and some of the controlls are still there. If you foucs the flash element by clicking into it the adressbar is still there and does not disappear over time. If you step out of the tab with Ctrl+Tab and click in a normal html-Document the adressbar disappears. Than you can step back into the tab with Ctrl+Tab and you are in complete fullscreen mode. Expected results: The fullscreen mode for flash elements should be available by simply pressing F11 and without this workaround.

Confirmed using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:21.0) Gecko/20130210 Firefox/21.0 ID:20130210031150. Apart of above there are also Flash/Chrome UI Repainting Issues if you ALT-Tab between two Firefox Instances.

Not reproducible without the flash content.

Also not reproducible when embedding Flash in a page. Could this be intentional for full-page plugins?

STR: (reproduced on Win7, Nightly 42.0a1 (2015-08-09)) 1. Open Flash-only page (e.g. video https://www.youtube.com/v/3IT2Cc_5WxE ) 2. Click Flash content (you can click sound indicator in my example) 3.A) Press F11 3.B) Focus location bar and press F11 3.C) Click Fullscreen button located on one of toolbars 3.D) Focus location bar, press Shift+Tab, press F11 3.E) Focus location bar, Ctrl+T, click content area, F11, Ctrl+W Result: A) Nothing happens (usually) because Fx doesn't know about keypress events and clicks on Flash B) Navigator-toolbox is still visible because by-design it doesn't hide if location bar is focused (you're caught in a trap with this design) C)-E) Actually work, but are not trivial at all. Also, they're useless. See "NOTE" Expectations: There should be a simple way to enter fullscreen mode NOTE: If you manage to open flash-only page in fullscreen mode, BUT after that you move mouse to the top of the page, then navigation toolbar appears and again, it's not hidden when you move mouse out. Scenarios C)-E) are required AGAIN.
