List Name: mozilla.bugmasters List Admin: firstname.lastname@example.org, Short Description: For Mozillians managing, triaging, and investigating bugs. Long Description: Mozilla bugmasters manage bugs. We investigate incoming bugs to ensure their information is correct. We also work to add information to confirm and replicate them. Improving meta-information on bugs readies them for developers to fix. We work as a community with each other, with bug reporters, with the quality assurance (QA) team, and with developers to improve the flow of information in bugzilla.mozilla.org. Our irc channel is #bugmasters and you can read more about the community at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Bugmasters. Welcome! Justification / Special Instructions: The people attending the bugmasters meetings would like a mailing list. It will also support the emerging community of bug triagers. (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Bugmasters) I think it would be best as mozilla.bugmasters, but might logically be listed here: https://www.mozilla.org/about/forums/#dev-quality, alongside mozilla.dev.quality.
A week ago, I would have suggested that mozilla.qa.bugmasters was a better location, but since then I remember you saying that Bugmastering is not a subset of QA. Is that right? Gerv
Yes, that's right. I think it will work better if it is not a subset of QA, but on the page that lists the various forums, it made the most sense to be associated with or in the same heading as dev.quality.
OK. Over to server-ops. Gerv
