User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0
Build ID: 20130212082553

Steps to reproduce:

I tried to open the following PDF using pdf.js:
http://www.ralfebert.de/eclipse_rcp/EclipseRCP.pdf

My System: Mac OS X 10.7.5
Installed Addons: Adblock Plus, Download Statusbar, RSS Icon In Awesomebar

Actual results:

pdf.js displays unreadable character strings, seemingly random, instead of the expected text. Viewing the pdf locally or using Google Docs works fine.

Expected results:

Obviously, it should have displayed the content correctly.

It's not clear to me whether this is a dupe of bug 808288 - does it involve a font that fails to load, so that fallback kicks in? Is it actually trying to render "missing" characters?

Re-opening for now; Bill, if you're sure this -is- an instance of 808288, please clarify the manner in which it's failing such that it hits that issue.

This looks like a font conversion issue with PDF.js, so it's probably best to leave it open.
