Details

Replying to a HTML mail containing a link, from Firefox OS email client, makes the link disappearing.
Okay, too fast when submitting. The email was from Lisa Brewster (about bug 841569). Gaia is at ce88ea7.
Thanks for filing this! As noted on IRC, the underlying problem is that when we reply to HTML e-mails or forward HTML e-mails, we use the version we persisted in our database which is the sanitized version. This is a good thing for our safety, but it does mean that we need to de-sanitize these things on the way out the door.
Summary: Link contained in HTML email removed when replying → [email] Links contained in replied-to/forwarded HTML emails are removed because we quote the sanitized body
This is a good thing. I means Gaia doesn't have the Thunderbird bug somebody else mentioned on tb-enterprise where TB quotes an external graphic, tries to download it at send time, and that fails, preventing the email from sending.
