Switching orientation of device during settings screen does nothing. I expect to rotate screen on setting page too.
Kami, why is it important to you to rotate the screen on the setting page when all tasks can easily be accomplished in portrait?
Because the one would use the phone in landscape mode too. Also this applies to appswtcher too :)
(In reply to Peter Dolanjski [:pdol] from comment #1) > Kami, why is it important to you to rotate the screen on the setting page > when all tasks can easily be accomplished in portrait? This is important, because "Edge Swipe Navigation" is broken by any app not obeying landscape orientation. One can swipe through apps horizontally (from left or right edge) until hitting Settings. There, all of a sudden horizontal swiping scrolls the settings display "up and down" (and user has to tilt head 90° to the left, which hurts without practice, to read the settings). Now one has to swipe to the next or previous app from top or bottom. The next app, obeying landspace mode, requires horizontal swiping again. an awkward experience all around. Please make the Settings app support landscape mode also.
