Let's remove the "Save Changes" button and autosave when users change their display name, language and region!
Here's a prototype:

Two possible solutions:
1) Do some smart delays and predict when to POST the form. Then show notification message.
2) Don't POST the form until the user tries to leave the Settings page (back button, another tab, etc.). Then show notification message.
Summary: Remove "Save Changes" on Account Settings screen on mobile. → Remove "Save Changes" on Account Settings screen on mobile

Looks like we're keeping this button per the new designs (bug 864373). Reopen if still desired.

Oh, that was an oversight on my part. If possible I would still like to get rid of the "Save Changes" button and have it as autosave like the original prototype. It makes it much cleaner with only the "Sign in" button.

This is not a high priority though so we can attack it post-June if need be.

Is this bug still valid? The save changes button is still there but the only thing that can be changed is the display name...and submitting that change based on characters typed seems like we're asking for the blinding wrath of The Nameless One.
