Description

This example was run using Mozilla Build 0.9 on a Windows 98 machine. The
example has a simple button which when clicked should cause the pink shaded box
to its right to slowly collapse and finally disappear. Actually what happens is
the only the very first step appears to be carried out and that the reamining
steps don't get reflected in the display shown in the browser window. At
completion of the collapsing box, a Javascript alert appears which shows each
iteration step and the clip rectangle being applied at each step. This example
runs without problems in IE5.01. It appears to me that this problem is related
to one that I submitted back on September 22, 1999 (bug no. #14579)
