When I go to a website and click on a link to a PDF, and it opens in the new Firefox PDF viewer, some random letters are missing from the text. If I download the file and look at it in either Reader or Acrobat, it looks fine.
When I view it, there are letters missing from my name (second line), the first green headline, the last headline on page 2, and the first headline on page 3 (there may be more, but those are the ones I noticed).

Can confirm its the "f"s and "k"s in the special green font in said PDF. Also the grey font loses capital "M"s -- no "f" or "k" in grey font, so uncertain if its a type of font and specific character or characters across specific fonts.
In any case, selecting the character reports what it is normally (right click google search for "M")
So it looks like a rendering issue.

I cannot confirm the original issue on Firefox v22.0a1 - Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:22.0) Gecko/20130311 Firefox/22.0
Maybe there's some font isseues arising here?
Nevertheless I can confirm the issues described in comment 5.
