I think it has something to do with font rendering. MacType is a font renderer.

I tried in FF19 & 22, no crash. And the PDF is well rendered.
Can you type about:crashes in location bar and post some crash IDs (bp-...).

Funny, I can't reproduce it myself, now. But here are two crashes I had previously with that exact file.

There are no Firefox components in the stack trace.

It's indeed likely a Ultimate Font Rasterizer bug.
