User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0
Build ID: 20130201065344
Steps to reproduce:
I opened a new browser tab with the following address:
data:text/html, <html contenteditable>
(I have that as a bookmark, as a practical way to create notes very quickly.)
I then copied the text using Ctrl+C.
Actual results:
Nothing.
Expected results:
It should have copied the text.
(I tried using right-click and copy, but that didn't work either. I still had previously copied text in my clipboard.)

Can you test with a new profile, please: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Doesn't work with a new profile either.

I tried with Firefox 19, I'm able to write and copy/paste in a tab with data:text/html, <html contenteditable>.

Franz can you still reproduce this issue with the newer Firefox versions?
