When updating to 2.16 I lose ability to see any emails, email folders or email previews [caused by Identity Chooser extension. fixed in Version 1.8.2 of extension]

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0 SeaMonkey/2.15.2 Build ID: 20130203000651 Steps to reproduce: Updated from 2.15.2 to 2.16. Browser works fine. Can no longer use email program. All emails are gone (not shown) as are all email folders. Email start screen shows nothing but column to left where the folders should be but nothing is in column & large section to right where you should see "read messages" Compose messages" "view settings for this account" etc etc .....there is nothing there but blank screen. I restored my computer back to 2-15.2 & all emails showed up again. Thanks Actual results: see above Expected results: Normal start screen for SeaMonkey Mail

Tried 2.16 again today & in the folder pane I can now see all my email folders but when I click on folder to open up to see emails I get tab that says "undefined" and I cannot see any of the emails in folder. Took a screen shot if that would help. Thanks Jeff

Things to check: 1. Go Help -> Restart with Add-ons Disabled. (does this fix your problem?) 2. Go to about:config and using the filter box search for the following preferences: javascript.options.showInConsole browser.dom.window.dump.enabled And then set these to true. Then open the Error Console: Tools -> Web Development -> Error Console Are there any errors that seem related to mail/news?

Hi, thanks for help! I figured out problem, An add-on Identity Chooser was causing problem, disabled it & everything now works. Could yo please close this case. Thanks
