steps to reproduce:
1. On your unagi phone, navigate to any category landing page
2. search for "test"
3. Wait for the search suggestions to appear
4. Click on the "x" in the search field
5.

expected behavior:
search term is cleared on clicking "x" and the search suggestions are dismissed.

observed behavior:
search term is not cleared.

Try it from a categories listing page.

Verified as fixed in MP-dev app on FF OS (Unagi)
The search term is now cleared when the "x" is clicked.
