Steps to reproduce:
This problem occurs only occasionally when I reply to a long thread in a listserv and have included a number of quotes that others have contributed to the thread. Typically, I've inserted my reply both above the indented quotes and also interjected between various quotes. This was V 17.02 - and I'm now updating to 17.03.
Actual results:
My message gets sent to the forum but it gets stripped of all text, both my own replies and the indented quotes I had left in. Sometimes only a few gray dots get sent with no text. I've learned that I can avoid the problem either (1) by deleting all of the indented quotes myself and then pasting them in without the automatic indents that Thunderbird adds or (2) by entirely deleting all of the indented quotes and just sending my reply. That's a lot of work with long chained quotes that have several levels of indentations.
Expected results:
Instead of sending a blank reply, the quotes plus my interjected replies should have been sent. That's what happens 98% of the time but if I try to include an especially long chain of quotes along with all the other garbage that's typically added at the bottom of each message in the forum, then I risk sending a blank reply.

For problem on specific mail, followin is usually important and usually sufficient.
(1) Message source which produces your problem.
(2) Screen shot of your problem(==different display result from your expectation)
if needed.
(3) Some crisp explanations about problem, environment, conditions and so on.
Can you attach mail data?
1. Save the mail to .eml file. 2. Edit the .eml by Text editor, 3. Remove or replace private information or confidential data what is irrelevant to problem in the .eml file, 4. attach the .eml file to this bug(never paste log data to bug, please)
