Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0 Build ID: 20130201065344 Steps to reproduce: I tried to customise the appearance similar way as it is possible for the browser (Edit-Preferences-Apperance-Colours and then put the thick in the box 'Use system colours'). Regrettably such option does not exist for Mail & Newsgroup. Actual results: In fact there is a way to set the favourite colours for text and background by selecting specific dyes. Unfortunately, some of the recipients of my messages are angry when I use my favourite turquoise (the same as the system default in my case) colour for the background. Expected results: Is it possible to implement the option box 'Use system colours' also for messages and not only for web sites? I don't like to use a default white colour of the background. I noticed that it is glaring too much for me. If you could consider my suggestion for the future development I would be grateful.

@Reporter: I haven't a clue what we are talking about. Please: a) Contribute a document related step by step instruction containing every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem due to <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/QA/Bug_writing_guidelines> (similar to report in Bug 1139273) b) Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show

No response, so closing! @Reporter: Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you still can reproduce with a current SeaMonkey version and a current OS and if you can contribute a step by step instruction (containing every key press and every mouse click) how to reproduce the problem reliably.
