User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0
Build ID: 20130215130331

Steps to reproduce:

I unchecked the option "Tabs | Tab-Liste immer anzeigen" (Tabs | always show Tab bar) and have only one document open, so the Tab bar is not shown.

Actual results:

The 1-Pixel separator line between the bookmarks toolbar and the page content is missing; the page content directly attacht to the bookmarks without a separator.

Expected results:

A thin separator line should be visible between toolbar and content. This was the case in all firefox versions until 11; the line got lost with Firefox 12.
Attached image another example (obsolete) —
This example shows how the missing separator changes UI look&feel of a webpage.

I think it's made like that by purpose, see bug 618770.

The bug has been fixed with Firefox release 23.

Additional explanation: Firefox 23 by default always shows a tab bar, but the old behaviour can be restored using the Add-On "Hide Tab Bar With One Tab". I have installed this add-on. Now the tab bar is hidden again if only one tab is open, AND a separator line is displayed between toolbars and content.
