there's no contact info for myself, when choosing email addresses to send to

When I use the Gaia email app to send email, I'd sometimes like to be able to include my own email on the to: or cc: list.
Yet despite that I have:
* important my facebook contacts (where my own facebook account has this info)
* set up an email account (which again has this info)
I don't have the option of picking myself from the contacts list after hitting the [+] button to add an email address in the email app.
Steps to reproduce:
1. [in summary] import facebook contacts
2. [in summary] configure an email account
3. start the email app
4. click the compose icon in the upper right
5. click the + icon to add an address to the To: or Cc: field
6. Look for your own name
Actual results: no obvious way to add myself (I'm not listed)
Expected results: I should be listed, possibly because I imported facebook contacts, possibly because I configured an email account, or probably both

I guess there are two possible issues here:
- Facebook import is not creating a contact for you, a Contacts bug.
- When you create an e-mail account, we don't try to create a new contact for you or try and add your e-mail to an existing contact for you. This is an e-mail bug, but there might be a contacts bug on having one or more contacts be marked as 'me' so that e-mail can more easily find the right contact to add the e-mail address to automatically.
Casey, as e-mail UX decider, what are your thoughts?

To the best of my knowledge there is no way in contacts app to mark one contact as yourself. You are right we can get user's email address from Facebook and create a Contact for the user herself but that functionality has not been specified.

Facebook import is optional so we can't rely on this information being available anyways.

We do ask for a "Name" in email account setup but that doesn't mean that it has to be the users actual first and last name. Plus, which one do you use when setting up multiple accounts?
A potential option could be to ask the user on first run experience to "personalize" their device. This could automatically create a "me" entry or a contact of the users name within the address book. Though I don't think this one case could justify adding another step to FRE unless there were other cases beyond email.
Another option could be to automatically add the email accounts into the auto-suggestions? If I don't find my name within the contacts I would start writing my email address. It'll at least be helpful to auto-complete the email address?

When we start doing autocompletion in the e-mail app, sure, we can do that.

Hi,
Agree on comment 3. Let's solve it with the auto-suggestions.
