844680 - Whenever I right click, pretty much every option possible shows up even if most of those options aren't applicable to the situation

Steps to reproduce:

I right clicked some text and saw that the menu had all these items. I then tested it by clicking other things like images. The same problem persisted. 


Actual results:

Right clicking certain highlighted text brings up a menu for everything including media controls (play, mute, etc...), image controls (save as desktop background, save image as,  etc...), and link controls (save link as, bookmark link, etc...). 


Expected results:

only the applicable right click menu should have appeared

This is known to be caused by some Firebug versions.
Please try the Firefox safemode: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

It just went away after a few days

Since my last firefox update (to Developper edition 43.0) I get this exact same bug.
Since the reporter explicitly told that the bug "just went away after a few days", why had this bug been marked as resolved since good luck can't be taken as bug fixing...

Please re-open the bug, I would be glad to give any useful information.

I am running Gentoo linux, and tried Firefox safe mode but it did not change anything
