Build ID: 20111008085056
Steps to reproduce:
1. Sign in as vouched user.
2. Go for advance search
3. Observe the button 'Advanced Options'.
4. Notice the symbol prefixed to text Advanced Options.
5. Click on this button.
Actual results:
1. Notice the position of the image is not being changed.
Expected results:
1. It can happen that, user might be confused when this symbol is not changed.
2. The illusion or confusion it creates is, there are few more selective options for advanced search and it is not listed out.
1. What is the purpose of having that symbol in the 'Advanced Options' button?
2. As per the consistency with other applications, have not observed such symbol in search buttons.
3. Kindly make a call on should we have this symbol in the button or not.

If you were going to advocate for a feature enhancement what is your suggestion?
Hi Matt,
I would suggest two ways :
(a). Image of the arrow can be removed from the label
(b). It could be modified as a rightward indicating arrow when it is not clicked.Once click is made then it could indicate downward because the content is displayed down.
Without displaying anything, the arrow points downwards.Users will expect any content down to the arrow image. It may confuse the user as unless it is not clicked, it does not displays its content.

Thanks :saurabh. Bumping to future - the new UX that the caktus group is working on may make this bug irrelevant but I don't want to lose the suggestion.
Removing priority flag - this is something that the PM will set.

This seems invalid for the current UI.
