845221 - simple search always searches comments, ignoring the "include comments" checkbox

while testing 4.2, i discovered that at some stage the changes in bug 687774 stopped working on bmo.

there's no point fixing this in bmo/4.0

i'll try to get this fixed in bmo/4.2 prior to go-live.  if i can't figure it out, i'll hide temporarily the checkbox to avoid confusion.

This is working for me locally and also on bugzilla-dev. I see from the debug output that comments are not being searched when the the checkbox is unchecked and searched when it is. I get a few bugs when unchecked and a large list when checked. What are you seeing to make you think this is not working?

brain fart -- i was seeing "content matches xxx" which means a fulltext search was triggered.
pans out we're doing a fulltext search on the summary only, not the comments.
