Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 Build ID: 20130220104816 Steps to reproduce: Installed Firefox for Android Beta version 20. Launched it. Tried to Sync. Tried to surf. Actual results: Everything failed because "Firefox is currently in offline mode and can't browse the web". No visible way to exit offline mode can be seen. Happens this way every time I launch the browser, rendering it 100% useless. Expected results: Should be able to contact the web. Should only go into offline mode if I tell it to. There should be an obvious way to exit offline mode.
Are you using cellular or WiFi; are you roaming between connections? Which Android device?
OS: Linux → Android
Hardware: x86_64 → ARM
Severity: normal → major
WiFi. About 20cm away from the access point. No change to connection since downloading the app. Huawei Ascend G300, running Gingerbread 2.3.6
Kevin do you see this on your G300?
No, however my G300 is running ICS. I am afraid this phone may be like the Samsung Galaxy series where there are numerous phones with different hardware and software.
