Is there any particular reason why console clear fails to work some times? I just bumped into the tests and saw this bug mentioned. I find it's odd given the hud.jsterm.clearOutput() method is one of the most used methods in webconsole tests.
Taking this bug. I will touch this test file in bug 877262 and I will include a potential fix for this issue. The Web Console has a new messages-cleared event which we can use here.
