In order to get some work done for intern project, need to edit config files on dev. Can I get sudo?

+1 from me.
a=laura, but you might actually be wanting to use puppet
A summary of the config files and changes desired needs to be posted to this bug for review first, as the system is managed by Puppet and changes need to be driven through Puppet
I need the Socorro collector.ini, middleware.ini, processor.ini and monitor.ini files changed to use the socorro.external.fs.crashstorage classes instead of the socorro.external.filesystem.crashstorage ones
Are you able to provide a diff as an attachment?
I have no idea what the files look like on the server, can you attach them?
:solarce -- when did we put our dev config in puppet? afaik some systems are puppetized, but if we want to change our dev config we edit /etc/socorro

I assumed since you were asking for sudo you already have a normal shell on the server.

With all the work :jakem's been doing recently and :laura's comment about Puppet, I assumed this had been puppetized like stage and prod are

I'm on PTO, but saw this and didn't want to leave it hanging, I'm sure another webops or sre person can get Tony setup with a sudo shell today

You should be good to go.
SSH into socorro1.dev.dmz.phx1 with 'tyoung'.
