Steps to reproduce:
Run Ubuntu firefox 19 in safe mode (without addons) with my gmail open.
Actual results:
After12 hours the 2 cpu of my pc have high load (90%)

Hmm. This looks familiar to bug 844992. Can you post your about:memory output in a attachment to this bug (when you see the high load again)
