User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 Build ID: 20130215130331 Steps to reproduce: The new PDF Viewer in Firefox 19.0 is buggy, as well as being gnomic (user unfriendly). When I click on "download," my system crashes (blue screen of death)... Firefox has no roll-back (to previously working version)... Actual results: I copy the link to Clipboard, and then download the pdf file using IE Expected results: In my opinion, the new viewer should restore the native pdf reader controls for print/save etc
Sorry - I tried to go back and Edit the report, to better conform with the expected format, but can't figure out how...
This is a bug database and no Forum and editing is not possible. A Blue Screen is no Firefox bug, only drivers can crash the system. Firefox can trigger this but it's not something that we can fix in Firefox. In most cases it's the graphic hardware acceleration and you can disable that as workaround in the Firefox options. Just change to your preferred PDf reader in tools/options/applications/Portable Document Format PDF if you don't want the integrated pdf reader. I don't see anything actionable in this report, marking invalid
