Key mappings offer quick access and should be kept consistent across tools. See Continue, Step Over, Step Into and Step Out for Chrome [1] and Firebug [2]. One suggestion is to provide different settings in the Options panel for keybindings.

Probably via a drop down: Select: Default Firebug Chrome At least where possible.
