hi, I had this problem for quite a few months with releases 0.8x, 0.9.0 & 0.9.1. The only plugin loaded is the default one. In Mozilla plugins directory, I have the following : /usr/local/mozilla/plugins$ ls -l total 1304 drwxr-sr-x 6 root adm 4096 mai 11 12:04 java2 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root adm 947476 mai 11 12:04 libflashplayer.so -rw-r----- 1 root adm 349608 jun 8 12:39 libjavaplugin_oji.so -rwxr-xr-x 1 root adm 13720 mai 11 12:04 libnullplugin.so -r--r--r-- 1 root adm 2363 mai 11 12:04 ShockwaveFlash.class And if i check "about:plugins", the only plugin loaded is the Netscape Default plugin : libnullplugin.so. My system is running on a Debian 2.2 box. As a quick test, I got copied the plugins directory from another Debian 2.2 system on which mozilla 0.9.1 is able to load the plugins but nothing changed. I don't get any error message when loading mozilla. Any help would be appreciate. Philippe
Dup of bug 69167? (see also comments in bug 79124).
have you tried making libjavaplugin_oji.so a symlink to the real location of it? That is how the SUN README explains it should be done. Some Mandrake users have also reported problems with flash (bug 79108) The problem in that case was system bug: a missing symlink from libXt.so.6 to libXt.so The cure: ln -sf /usr/lib/libXt.so.6 /usr/lib/libXt.so
marking WORKSFORME due to the fact it worksforme and lack of reponse.
