Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0
Build ID: 20130215130331
Steps to reproduce:
1. Clicked, 'Get more search engines' from the 'Manage Search engines' menu in Firefox, was brought to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search-tools/, chose 'Dictionaries & Encyclopedias'
2. Clicked 'Add to Firefox' on the Wikipedia search plugin
3. This failed, tried many other search plugins, they all failed
Actual results:
When I clicked on the 'Add to Firefox' button, I got a error message pop-up dialogue which said 'Sorry, you need a Mozilla-based browser (such as Firefox) to install a search plugin.'
Expected results:
I should have been able to add any new search plugin to Firefox.
I am using Firefox 19.0 English version on Windows 7 64 bit.

Kris, can you confirm?

The last time someone reported this, it turned out to be caused by Abine's DoNotTrackMe replacing window.external and not setting __exposedProps__ correctly.

My apologise, I am indeed using Abine's DoNotTrackMe, I have just disabled it and tried to install a search plugin and sure enough it works. Unfortunately allowing tracking for https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search-tools/ doesn't have any affect. I will report this to Abine. Sorry for wasting your time guys.
