Not sure if someone else can reproduce this, but this is what happens on my phone (see attached screenshot).
1) I'm using a phone set to Italian, I open the Updates section and read "daily" in the droplist [1]
2) I click the droplist and all values are correctly available in Italian, with the label corresponding to "daily" selected [2]
3) To see an Italian label in the interface I have to switch to a different value (e.g. weekly) and then back to daily [3]
4) If I change the language to English, I see "ogni giorno" instead of "daily" [4]

Sorry, wrong bug.
Actually this is not happening any more (build 2013-06-25), so closing.
