User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 Build ID: 20130215130331 Steps to reproduce: Upgrades disable ZoneAlarm engine 1.5.359. ZoneAlarm reports it is still working and their tech person claims it is still protecting (it is a firewall), but some features pretty much have to have been affected by the disable. I am concerned about potential security issues. Please contact ZA software people and work out a compatability scheme. Actual results: Pretty much nothing. ZA seems to sit on their hands and blame Firefox for the problem. While true that FF did the down and dirty, ZA should defend their product and work on a fix, even if that means get FF to change something. Somebody do something. Expected results: FF did the breaking and they know it, I assume, because of the shut down of ZA on installation of the update. FF should not go around stomping on things like customer firewalls. I think the stink is mostly on you.
Firefox knows nothing about Firewalls and Firefox doesn't modify any system settings besides the default browser integration and that doesn't affect Firewalls. I don't know why thy blame Firefox but that's either a lie or they have a real bad product. There is nothing for us to fix in our source-code and I have to mark this bug report invalid. The Zonealarm support should help you since it's their product that isn't working right.
