From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:0.9.1) Gecko/20010607 BuildID: 2001060703 In this version, the "Imported IE Favorites" folder can be deleted in the "Manage Bookmarks" page; however, the deleted folder come back again everytime after Mozilla is restarted. I agree, as suggested by many testers, that the "Auto-Import" feature should be made optional. Yes, the "Auto-Import" feature itself is a good feature, but it would become a bad design if Mozilla FORCES people to use it ignoring so many user perferences. Reproducible: Always

Are you running an older version of Mozilla as well as the build that you were able to delete the folder with? Running Mozilla .9.1 for instance on the same profile will cause the folder to reappear as it ignores the preference.
using build 2001061304, this bug is still present. it seems to have re-appeared since the 0.9.1 milestone, at least in 6.13.01's nightly.

0.9.1 went out without the fix to make the folder disappear, I think. So if you run .9.1, you'll get the folder back each time you start the app.
