See the screenshot to get what I mean.
The jumping of the 'curve' image above the VKB only happens to the 'curves' touching the screen edge, so
- to the left-most 'curve' when the Top Sites tab is selected (like in the screenshot) and
- to the right-most 'curve' when the History tab is selected

Device: Galaxy S2, Android 4.0.4
VKB: SwiftKey
STR:
1) Make sure 'Landscape key height' is set to normal in SwiftKey settings (Advanced)
2) Hold smartphone in landscape mode
3) Tap the awesomebar to bring up awesomescreen and VKB

The round tabs are gone now, after the about:home refresh.
