Jakem said he could set up some monitoring to ensure that requests sent to the snippets geolocation service return 200 OK. Jakem, can you add more detail to this bug and assign?

We'll keep this simple for now...


Servers:
geoip[1-4].webapp.scl3.mozilla.com


Checks on each server:
Nagios HTTP MaxClients

Global checks (one time, not needed on all 4 nodes):
Nagios HTTP String check on http://geo.mozilla.org/country.json
    output should look like this:
{"country_name": "United States", "country_code": "US"}
Anything else is cause for alarm.


No backend services for this. :)
