Details

In Nightly when I go to <http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/graphics/videoformatsupport/default.html>, I can only play WebM videos. The media.windows-media-foundation.enabled pref's value is true (the default.)
What are the details of your Windows machine? OS version, etc?
This page plays for me in windows nightlies. It previously didn't, are you sure your nightly is up to date?

It runs Windows Server 2012. What other info can I provide?

(Also, yeah, my Nightly is updated.)
Maybe the WMF DLLs don't ship on Windows Server or something?
See also bug 847879, you may also need to install the "Microsoft Windows Media Feature Pack for N and KN Versions of all Windows 8 Editions":

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2703761

Can you check the output of DXDiag? If you don't see a section "Media Foundation Transforms" which lists things like "Microsoft H264 Video Decoder MFT" then you don't have the required DLLs, and you may need the feature pack.
Thanks, I finally figured out how to install the WMF stuff, and now everything works perfectly. Sorry for the false alarm.
