Steps to reproduce:
1.Go into browser and open a website;
2.set this websit as homescreen bookmark
3.Go into settings-App permission-clear bookmarks data;
Expected results:
1.it promt out “this clears private data from bookmarks that have been added to the home screen”.
2.tap “clear” and return homscreen.
3.the homescreen bookmark is deleted.
Actual results:
1.the homescreen bookmark also exists.

I thought to clear private data doesn't mean to kill the bookmark on home screen.
Can you confirm that for us, Joe?

The "private data from bookmarks" is deleted but not the bookmarks. This is by design.
