Details
If you check the HD box in the "vidly shortcutter" (from the Archive event page) it should suggest to use the template called exactly "Vid.ly SD + HD". If not HD checked it should suggest "Vid.ly SD Only".
If either named template isn't anywhere in the Template drop-down it should show some sort of javascript error urging the user to select it manually.

...and we were talking about just having a checkbox for the Default Archive template.
